Become a Friend of the Freeland Library

Everyone needs friends and libraries do too. Sno-Isle provides most of the library’s resources but more is always welcomed by the librarians and the community. Membership dues for the Friends support library activities, events, and equipment. Many Friends volunteer by helping with the monthly book sales, donating food for celebrations, and by promoting the library, reading, and membership.

 

 

Any Friend is invited to join the Board and help coordinate library events and fundraising. Ask a librarian at the front desk for a brochure to join!

Donate

Contributions to the Friends of the Freeland Library help us sustain our operations and in turn support the greater Whidbey community. Donated funds will be put toward: 

  • Events for children and teens, including prizes for Summer reading programs
  • Essential library supplies and furniture
  •  Adult-oriented programming, including writing classes, gardening workshops, and musical performances
We currently accept donations in person via check or cash, as well as online through our Venmo profile.
